AI Policy — DockSpare

1. Overview

This policy is about how AI tools were used to build DockSpare, not about an AI feature inside the product — the Platform itself does not currently include any AI-powered feature (no chatbots, recommendation algorithms, or generated content shown to users).

2. AI-Assisted Development

Parts of DockSpare's codebase, documentation, and this set of policy pages were written with the assistance of AI coding tools, under the direction and review of a human developer. This is disclosed here in the interest of transparency, consistent with the "Template notice" that appears throughout our legal pages.

3. What This Means (and Doesn't Mean) for You

AI-assisted development does not change how the Platform treats your data, your account, or your transactions — the same Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and Supabase row-level security rules govern access to your information regardless of how the code that enforces them was written. It also does not mean any of your content (listings, messages, reviews) is used to train an AI model — see Section 4.

4. No AI-Based Decisions About Your Account

DockSpare does not use AI or automated decision-making to approve, verify, rank, suspend, or otherwise make consequential decisions about your account, listings, or Orders. Verification, moderation, and enforcement decisions described in our Acceptable Use Policy are made by DockSpare administrators, not an algorithm.

5. If This Changes

If we ever introduce an AI-powered feature within the product itself (for example, AI-assisted search or recommendations), we will update this policy to describe what it does, what data it uses, and any choices available to you, before that feature goes live.
